Located in the historical center of Braga, in front of the Cathedral of Braga, the most important monument of this city, the ÍSIS Guest House is an accommodation located in Braga, housed in an old building.

It is believed that the Cathedral of Braga is based on the foundations of an ancient market or Roman temple dedicated to the goddess Isis because, on one of its outer walls, there is a votive stone with this indication.

Over the centuries, this temple has been the subject of successive renovations, which has meant that what can be observed today is a varied set of artistic styles.

The interior of the Cathedral of Braga, is marked by a solid and imposing Romanesque atmosphere. The three naves are divided in six sections through arches of perfect return, being the bedside formed by four absidolos and by an apse.

The Cathedral was conceived according to a line of pilgrimage similar to Santiago de Compostela and of French Churches, composed of three naves, salient transept, head and ambulatory.
